The so-called Budget iPhone 5C isn't really within our budget

Dunia gajet minggu ini sensasi dengan pelancaran 2 model baru smartphone Apple, 5S dan 5C. Berikut adalah beberapa key points dari pelancaran tersebut:

Some good points:

- iOS 7 will be available on Sept 18 for free

- Apple memperkenalkan iTunes Radio

- All 5 of these industry-leading apps are now free

- Slow motion video recording diperkenalkan

- Its camera can takes multiple photos with one shot

- Improved graphics and CPU performance

- A7 64-bit chip

- 5S has 3 different colors (Black, gold, silver)

- The colorful 5C (green, white, blue, pink and yellow)

- Touch ID sensor pada 5S, hanya perlu scan jari anda untuk unlock the phone dan untuk sign-in atau beli apps di apps Store dan iTunes.

Some not so good points:

- About the same battery life

- The expensive USD $ 29 (~RM 90) Silicon case for 5C

- The rumors leaked in the internet before the lauch are all correct. Apple dah tak pandai nak simpan rahsia atau wartawan yang semakin bijak meneka?

- Available di 9 negara pada 20 september 2013, sedangkan negara lain perlu tunggu hingga Disember 2013 untuk dapatkan 2 phone ini

- Harga unlock/ tanpa kontrak 5C di US ialah USD $ 549 (~ RM 1,800) untuk 16 GB, jadi ianya bukan dalam bajet kebanyakkan orang yang mengharap Apple akan keluarkan phone dalam harga RM 1000 - RM 1,200

- Tiada NFC dan tidak kalis air.

The verdict:

Practically 5C adalah iPhone 5 dalam plastik case yang berwarna. Walaupon ramai yang kecewa kerana 5C tidak murah seperti diharapkan, tiada feature seperti kalis air dsb. Tapi Apple masih tetap mengekalkan 'wow' faktornya kali ini dengan inovasi terbaru, touch ID sensor. 5C mahal mungkin kerana Apple mahu mengekalkan status premiumnya sesuai dengan kualiti yang mereka berikan.
