Earth Hour 2011?

-Each year this is the time when people switch-off all their electric appliances for about 1 or 2 hours.

-The question is why don't we do this 'earth hour' every day? I didn't mean we need to switch-off all electric tools for 1-2 hours every day. What I mean is that we save our electric consumption every day. Switch-off the computer or TV when not in-use. Turn on the air-conditioner and other high energy required devices only when necessary.

-Save electric consumption wisely and consistently is better than we do 'the earth hour' only.

-This should be or is already the aim of the earth hour, which is to improve the people awareness towards saving energy consumption that might some people have not just realised.

-When there are less electric consumptions. There will be less energy and hence less carbon and other greenhouse gasses that contribute to global warming will be produced. You will save your electricity bill as well.

-So let's do good electric consumption practices everyday. Don't think why I need do this while other people just ignore it. Don't! because it's matter when you do it when you multiply it by over 6 billions people around the globe and "don't belittle any good deeds even it's a small thing". It is not 'earth hour' once a year but it's 'earth day' every day.
